Build, LLC

Progressive architecture is everywhere, everywhere but Orange County, California. Orange County, the king of production tract homes where emulating 'styles' of Tuscany and Andalusia is considered cutting edge. It's hard as an architect not to just pick up everything and move to a place like Seattle, Wa. where there are many more architects striving to push the envelope for new, innovative yet affordable housing. A place where a firm like Build, LLC blogs about how they do things with no thought about competition but rather sharing. Sharing their ideas and praising others when it's deserved. How refreshing is it to learn that there are architects who care more about creating a better community rather than who can build the biggest, most expensive house using the most expensive materials from Italy. So, it is important for MYD studio to hopefully bring to light great little firms like Build, LLC and let them know that they are making a difference for designers like us...thanks.

An important issue for our country right now is healthcare and we want to educate as many people about universal healthcare as possible. Start by going to this link: http://www.pbs.org/moyers/journal/05222009/watch.html
It clearly defines for us how important healthcare is to us and why we need to be more educated about it.
