Sustainable Building Strategies - Architecture 2030

The building industry contributes to almost half of U.S. greenhouse gas emissions; therefore, it is imperative that we change the way we think about the built environment and re-evaluate how buildings are designed, planned, and constructed.
At MYD, we support the Architecture 2030 Challenge, and its goals to reduce GHG emissions to achieve a net zero, or carbon neutral, standard for building energy consumption within the next two decades. This organization not only addresses the global building industry community, but also seeks to educate homeowners about design solutions to address the growing and potentially irreversible climate change problem on a residential scale.
